The Lifesaving Society appoints Diploma Examiners only
upon the recommendation of their Area Chair.
Diploma Examiner candidates are experienced Distinction
Examiners who undergo specific training in examination
standards and apprenticeship. Diploma Examiners are empowered
to conduct the practical examination for the Lifesaving
Society's Diploma Award.
Prerequisites: Distinction Examiner
appointment; co-examination apprenticeship; Area Chair approval.
You must submit the completed Examiner Training
Record to the Society's office prior to appointment as a
Diploma Examiner. Do you have the prerequisites to become a

Candidate recognition: Certification card.
Costs: There is no Lifesaving Society fee for
this volunteer leadership position.
Recertification: Examiners remain current
by recertifying within 24 months of the last certification
date. Recertification is through the Society's professional
development credit system. Is it time to
