We are looking for a Part-Time Lifeguard for one of our communities in Stouffville, ON.
Shift Schedule: Every Sunday, 12:30-4:30pm
Pay Rate- $17/hour
The position exists to provide owners, residents, visitors and contractors with a level of customer service that is second to none for their various needs and requirements. The individual is responsible for ensuring that all activity occurring on the client’s property is in accordance with client’s needs as well as FirstService Residential company policies and procedures. The individual will safeguard the facility to ensure owners, residents, visitors have a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience. The Lifeguard is required to address and properly document anything, which may be of concern to the client as well as any other parties of interest.
Education, Experience, & Certifications
· Up to date National Lifeguard-Pool certificate
· Up to date CPR Level C
· Standard First Aid
Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies
· Have knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the lifeguard
· Have knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules
· Have knowledge of the proper use of chemicals
· Have the ability to follow instructions
· Have knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules and regulations
· Have knowledge of building and property security procedures
· Have the ability to explain instructions and guidelines to others effectively
· Have the ability to train and assign work to employees
· Have the ability to prioritize the work of others
