Job Description
Progress Reporting: Regularly communicate student progress throughout the session.
Documentation: Complete skill trees on iClass accurately and professionally, providing comments and feedback.
Time Management: Exhibit strong time management skills during classes, ensuring efficient use of instructional time.
Compassionate Approach: Display compassion and empathy towards each student, fostering a supportive learning environment.
Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety on the pool deck both during and after your shift.
Equipment Needs: Inform your Supervisor of any additional or new equipment requirements to enhance the quality of instruction.
Training and Development: Attend all staff training and ensure timely completion of required training and tests.
Required Qualifications
- Russell Aquatics Instructor Trainer Award (can be completed upon hire)
- Bronze Cross
- Standard First Aid and CPR C
- National Lifeguard
- Attend quarterly training sessions and complete onboarding training within a specified time frame.
