Job Description

Our website is aquaticleadership.ca. We offer six types of services:

  1. Private swim lessons

  2. Lifesaving Society online courses

  3. Lifesaving Society in-person courses

  4. Canada Safety Council Home Alone and Babysitting courses

  5. Heart & Stroke courses

  6. Aquatic facility safety inspection services

 

We have access to a pool at Holiday Inn Toronto Airport, located at 970 Dixon Road, Etobicoke, ON, M9W 1J9, Canada.

We also have access to a pool at Residence Inn Marriott, located at 2145 N Sheridan Way, Mississauga, ON L5K 1A3.

If you are already a swim instructor and you have clients looking to take private swim lessons with you but you don’t have access to a pool, you are welcome to use our pool and bring your own clients. We charge $20 as our profit, plus the pool admission fees (most likely around $15 to $20)—those admission fees go to the hotel, not us. :)

If you are already a swim instructor and you do not have clients, you are welcome to apply with us. Once we receive private swim clients, we will contact you.

If you are a hobbyist marketer, or you know a hobbyist marketer, we pay an ongoing $10 for each materialized lesson you bring to us through your marketing efforts—for each client and for each returning client. (In other words: bring the client once, and you keep getting paid $10 every time they come for a lesson.) Our booking system tracks which promo code the client used to book. We give you a unique promo code and a unique URL, and we give you access to track bookings in a Google Sheet.

We offer Lifesaving Society courses online, including management courses such as Aquatic Supervisor, Aquatic Manager, SEE Auditor, Pool Operator, etc.

We also offer Lifesaving Society courses in-pool for courses that have in-water components such as Bronze, National Lifeguard , Swim Instructor, Lifesaving Instructor, and recertifications.

We are currently looking for:

  • Freelance SEE Auditor instructors available weekdays from 5:00 PM–9:00 PM to teach online via Zoom. You must provide 2–3 days of availability every week and be willing to work with as little as 1 candidate, as we do not cancel courses for low enrollment. Pay is $30 per person for the SEE Auditor course.

  • Freelance Pool Operator Recerts instructors available weekdays from 5:00 PM–9:00 PM to teach online via Zoom. Pay is $45 per candidate. You must provide 2–3 days of availability every week and be willing to work with as little as 1 candidate, as we do not cancel courses for low enrollment.

  • Freelance Safeguard instructors available weekdays from 5:00 PM–9:00 PM to teach online via Zoom. Pay is $25 per candidate. You must provide 2–3 days of availability every week and be willing to work with as little as 1 candidate, as we do not cancel courses for low enrollment.

  • Freelance Pool Operator instructors available on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM to teach online via Zoom. Pay is $80 per candidate. You must be available at least on Saturday or Sunday (or both) every week and be willing to work with as little as 1 candidate, as we do not cancel courses for low enrollment.

  • Freelance trainers to teach Swim Instructor, Lifesaving Instructor, Assistant Swim Instructor, Emergency First Aid Instructor, and instructor recertification courses. This is for in-person delivery in Mississauga and online delivery (Zoom) for the online portion of the course. Pay is 66% of the net profit. Trainers must be willing to teach as little as 1 candidate, as we do not cancel courses due to low enrollment.

  • National Lifeguard instructors to teach National Lifeguard and National Lifeguard recertifications. Pay is 66% of the net profit.

We also need:

 

  • Volunteers with Bronze cross or Assistant swim instructors certifications to act as bystanders and/or victims for some courses and to help with swim teaching for some Private swim lessons . Volunteers will be compnesated in gift cards and we can give them the 40 hours attestation document they need for school or for volunteering hours .

  • Canada Safety Council instructors for Home Alone and Babysitting courses

  • First Aid and CPR instructors

  • Heart & Stroke instructors BLS

  • Red Cross Instructors
