Join us in Brampton for the 103rd Annual General Meeting of
the Lifesaving Society Ontario on Friday, March 30, 2012.
The Society's Annual Conference includes:
- Governor's Investiture to recognize the
contributions of selected Society volunteers
- Annual General Meeting at which the Board of
Directors reports to our members
- Awards Presentation Ceremony to recognize our
affiliate members and rescuers
- Area Chair Conference for our volunteer
regional representatives
We encourage Society members and affiliate representatives to
attend the Annual General Meeting to hear the report on the
Society's activities in the prior year and to elect the Society's
Board of Directors. Voting delegates at the AGM include: current
NLS award holders, instructors and examiners, members of standing
committees and area committees, Area Chairs and Council Chairs, and
affiliate representatives.
We present Affiliate Recognition
Awards and Rescue Award of Merit awards immediately
following the AGM at the Awards Presentation Ceremony. We invite
all AGM and Awards Presentation attendees to stay for the reception
and silent auction following.
The Annual Conference is a great opportunity to meet other
Society members and renew acquaintances with those who share your
interest in drowning prevention.
