The Lifesaving Society annually recognizes Affiliate Members who
deliver the Society's training programs, promote Water
Smart® public education, and raise funds in support of
the Society's drowning prevention mission.
Most recognition awards are presented on the basis of points
earned (see Point System below). Point values reward affiliates who
offer a full menu of lifesaving programs and reflect the relative
degree of difficulty or amount of training and effort required to
achieve each level including the programming time commitment.
