Head of Waterfront - Senior Staff position

Job Description

The Head of Waterfront is primarily responsible for the safety of the Waterfront area whenever staff or campers are present at the lake.  The Head of Waterfront is responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols are being met and followed to ensure the safest possible environment at all times.  The Head of Waterfront is the key supervisor of the lakefront and its activities and staff members.

Applicants must be turning 19 years of age before December 31, 2021.


Required Qualifications

Bronze Cross and NLS Waterfront required, Instructors preferred.

Pleasure Craft License required.

ORCKA certification or equivalent preferred.

Special Instructions

Camp Katonim, near Keswick, Ontario is located in a beautiful country setting on the shores of Lake Simcoe and operates 9am-4pm daily for 8 week-long sessions, beginning July 5, 2021.

Staff providing their own transportation arrive at 8:30am and depart at 4:30pm.  Daily bus transportation is available to staff from the GTA. Local staff strongly encouraged.

A Senior Staff position, The Head of Waterfront may opt to live on-site (private room).
