Job Description

Job Title and Overview

The Aquatics Manager is responsible for ensuring the protection of the lives and safety of Park Guests, Pack Members and fellow Management team. They will create a fun, exciting, safe workplace focusing on training and mentorship of our Pack and be a leading example of excellence in Customer Service and safety

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Motivates diverse groups to achieve extraordinary goals and overcome challenges. Inspires and motivates Pack Members to work together through mentorship, coaching and counselling
  • Able to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of who will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information, and resolve conflicts
  • Has working knowledge of emergency response procedures, administers and coordinates emergency first aid as necessary
  • Report writing for all incidents involving Pack Members and guests in a timely manner
  • Plan, administer and monitor training; Teaching training in an engaging and fun manner, getting our Pack excited about career development. Maintain training manuals, training kits, and training rosters
  • Monitors and educates Pack Member for high performance ratings on third-party audits and overall success of safety.
  • Maintain in-service records, evaluations and compliance requirement with Ellis & Associates and VAT
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new Pack Members

Compensation and Benefits

· $48,000 - $50,000 yearly salary

Required Qualifications

Experience and Qualifications

Must Have

Preferred

Standard First Aid & CPR Level C or Emergency First Aid & CPR Level B. (valid for 3 years).

Ellis & Associates ILTP license and Basic Leadership Training license, Instructor license preferable.

NLS certification (valid for 2 years).

EMT or medical background in first aid, CPR, and AED.

Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays – shift times may vary

CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferable.
