Cause related marketing partnerships saves lives!

The Lifesaving Society works with various corporate partners, to help provide the resources to support the Water Smart® public education campaign as it enhances corporate image, targets key markets, differentiates a company from its competition and fosters customer loyalty.

Cause related marketing provides an opportunity for your company to benefit from association with the Society and demonstrate support in the fight of drowning prevention.

Whether an organization offers to donate a portion of product sales or requires consumer participation in exchange for a donation, the Lifesaving Society's objective is that all programs that benefit our organization are meaningful, educate Canadians about water safety and generate significant funds in support of our mission.

Each of our corporate partners is unique and we strive to create innovative, tailored programs based on their interests and priorities in order to achieve business objectives.

Some partners choose to support our work for purely philanthropic reasons, knowing that their donation can help save others, through our Water Smart® public education campaign for young children; teaching parents and caregivers with the knowledge to help save the lives of the children in their care or others in an emergency situation.  Other partners prefer to use our expertise to complement their marketing strategies and to influence their audiences.

Each partnership is approached on an individual basis, taking steps to match our partner's expectations and the needs for our cause effectively.

You may be looking to target our affiliates or have an interest in our members who help save lives. You may be looking for a charity partner that has a combination of national, provincial and local presence. Either way, we can assist you.

Corporate - local, provincial and national: The Lifesaving Society is looking for corporate partners and suppliers interested in sponsoring:

  • Swim to Survive® training (water safety survival skill program)
  • Lifeguard championships (support for provincial and national competitions)
  • National Lifesaving Team (athlete support at international competitions)
