Job Description
We are looking for friendly and passionate Lifeguards to supervise patrons directly on the inflatable waterpark. Must be a team player. We work with our staff to ensure a flexible schedule and competitive wages. Our main priority is to ensure a safe and fun environment for all our staff.
Hoopla Island is committed to providing all patrons with an energetic, family-oriented, and fun-filled experience by promoting physical activity in the outdoors, with safety as our top priority. All applicants will be responsible to maintain this image while performing their lifeguarding duties.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise patrons directly on the floating waterpark
- Properly fit patrons with appropriate lifejackets
- Educate and enforce patrons on safety rules and regulations
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Assist in daily maintenance tasks of set-up, take-down, and cleaning duties
- May be required to supervise structures during closures due to bad weather
Starting wage is $20 per hour. Our 2024 season starts June 28 and will end September 2nd.
Required Qualifications
- National Lifeguard Certification or equivalent
- Bronze Cross Certification for an assistant Lifeguard position
