About the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club: As a family-oriented private Club, our mission is to be a Great Club for our members by delivering exceptional experiences, inspired by our warm and welcoming culture. Located in North Toronto, the Club consists of more than 4,000 members, with a strong presence in the local social and sporting community.

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Masters Swim Coach on a contract position to lead our small, boutique-style adult swim group. With typically no more than 5 swimmers per session, this is a unique opportunity to provide personalized coaching in a supportive, community-focused environment. Classes will run from September to June, every Tuesday and Thursday 7pm-8pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead engaging, technique-focused swim workouts tailored to a range of adult swimmers, from fitness enthusiasts to former competitive swimmers.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all participants feel motivated and supported.
  • Provide stroke correction, training advice, and performance feedback as appropriate.
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for all participants.

Required Qualifications

  • At least one (1) year of previous coaching or competitive swimming experience required
  • Current CPR, First Aid, and National Lifeguard Certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, encouraging demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Must be available Tuesdays and Thursdays 7pm-8pm for classes
