For Affiliates

All affiliates of the Lifesaving Society can offer Swim to Survive® programming. There are many ways to bring Swim to Survive to your facility such as:

  • The completion of the Swim to Survive standard is included as a component of Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life level Swimmer 4.
  • Host a Swim to Survive day and challenge patrons to attempt the standard with appropriate support and safety supervision. Include lap swimmers and aqua-fitness participants. Count the number of participants and share your final tally with the Lifesaving Society to be included as an entry for the Swim to Survive Award (see below).
  • Include Swim to Survive as part of summer camp programming, particularly for swimming camps or camps that will be in, on, or around the water.
  • Offer Swim to Survive programming for families at recreational swims or as a special lesson booking.
  • Partner with schools or school boards to participate in the Swim to Survive School Grant Program.
  • Partner with newcomer organizations to offer the Swim to Survive programs to community members who need it most.
  • Partner with private schools in your community to get their students Swim to Survive ready!
  • Share the Swim to Survive messages in your facility on bulletin boards, monitors, and posters.
  • Start planning for the 2030 25th Anniversary of the Swim to Survive program!
