The Lifesaving Society is a full-service provider of programs, products and services designed to prevent drowning. We save lives and prevent water-related injury through our training programs, Water Smart public education, drowning research, aquatic safety management, and lifesaving sport.
Our Strategic Plan helps the Society continue to grow and explore new opportunities. Senior staff and VPs have worked consultant to collaboratively establish goals and align on a long-term direction that would meet our organization needs as well as serve our affiliates and members. The plan was approved by our CEO and Board of Directors and will guide the Society's staff and volunteers on work going forward.
The 2025-2030 Strategic Plan
Our strategic plan focuses on five pillars.
Strengthening Leadership and Governance - To build strong, clear and sustainable leadership and governance across the organization.
Embracing Digital Transformation - To transform service delivery and organizational capacity through modern, secure and user-centered digital solutions.
Elevating Programs and Services - To continually enhance the quality of Society programs, services and the customer experience.
Forging Powerful Partnerships - To attract and solidify mutually beneficial partnerships that align with our values, and further our reach and the positive impact of our work.
Advancing Equity and Belonging - To identify and remove barriers that limit access
to and participation in water safety education and training.
We are confident that through these strategic goals guiding our work over the next several years, we will continue to prevent drowning and water-related injury.
