The Pool Operator Instructor course prepares Instructors to
teach and certify candidates in the Society's Pool Operator Level 1
and 2 programs.
Prerequisites: Lifesaving Society Instructor
and Lifesaving Society Pool Operator Level 2 and Advanced
Instructor certifications (need not be current). Do you have the
prerequisites to take this course?
Evaluation & certification: Pool Operator
Instructor Trainers teach, evaluate and certify Pool Operator
Instructors. The Lifesaving Society deems its certifications to be
"current" for 24 months from the certification date.
Candidate recognition: Certification card.
Course length: Approx. 12 hr.
Required reference materials: Pool
Operations Manual, Pool Operator 1 Workbook, Pool
Operator 2 Workbook, Instructor Notes.
Costs: In addition to the required reference
materials, a certification fee is payable to the Lifesaving
Society. Course organizers charge a fee to cover the costs of
running the course.
Recertification: Instructors remain current by
recertifying within 24 months of the last certification date.
Recertification is through the Lifesaving Society professional
development credit
