The Aquatic Safety Auditor Instructor course prepares
Instructors to teach candidates on the Society's Aquatic Safety
Auditor clinic.
Prerequisites: Lifesaving Society Instructor
and Aquatic Safety Auditor and
Advanced
Instructor certifications (need not be current). Do you have the
prerequisites to take this course?
Evaluation & certification: Aquatic Safety
Auditor Instructor Trainers teach, evaluate and certify Aquatic
Safety Auditor Instructors. The Lifesaving Society deems its
certifications to be "current" for 24 months from the certification
date.
Candidate recognition: Certification card.
Course length: Approx. 12 hr.
Required reference materials: Guide to
Ontario Public Pools Regulation, Aquatic Safety Auditor
Workbook, Instructor Notes.
Costs: In addition to the required reference
materials, a certification fee is payable to the Lifesaving
Society. Course organizers charge a fee to cover the costs of
running the course.
Recertification: Instructors remain current by
recertifying within 24 months of the last certification date.
Recertification is through the Lifesaving Society professional
development credit
